JOB DESCRIPTION

Design, document, and implement data solutions for systems of various sizes and types, and have a thorough understanding of integration, maintenance, and migration aspects.
Act as the point of contact for database issues in projects.
Ensure adherence to architecture design.
Provide input and solutions for system architecture.
Establish guidelines, assess architecture options, and conduct technical assessments.  
Act as a database technical architect in projects on a regular basis.
Communicate technical issues and project progress with clients.
Assist clients with technical support.
Take part in pre-sales support and company-wide activities (R&D, Training).
Undertake self-training on new technologies.

JOB REQUIREMENT

At least 5 years of experience in data modeling, data migration, performance optimization, T-SQL, stored procedures, and data pipeline solutions
Hands-on development experience with at least 2 databases such as SQL Server, Oracle, PostgreSQL, and MySQL
Experience in designing and implementing data solutions focusing on database performance, data security, and high availability
Familiarity with at least 1 Extract, Transform, and Load (ETL) tool and 1 Business Intelligence (BI) tool
Proficiency in performance tuning for both operational databases and data warehouses
Prioritizing performance and security requirements in proposed data solutions
Experience with Cloud-based technologies such as MS Azure and AWS
Good understanding of Continuous Integration (CI)/Continuous Deployment (CD) for Database changes
Knowledge of NoSQL technologies (e.g. MongoDB, Cassandra, Graph Database) is a plus
