JOB DESCRIPTION

The individual in the role of Technology Lead plays a crucial part in aligning business objectives with technical implementations. They are responsible for guiding technology stacks, developing roadmaps, and supporting business growth while ensuring that the solutions are scalable and future-proof. The Technology Lead oversees teams by employing Lean and Agile principles to optimize workflows, mentor engineers, and maintain high coding standards. Their primary focus is on ensuring the success of projects through proactive risk management, fostering collaboration, and delivering high-quality web applications on time.
Conduct technical requirements gathering, use-case discovery, and platform analysis
Create compelling and substantiated technology and architecture recommendations
Develop and sustain software requirements specification and architecture documents
Act as the main day-to-day technical contact for clients, third-party vendors, technology partners, and internal project stakeholders
Collaborate with Technology Directors to create estimates and overall implementation solution plans
Lead all implementation, customization, and integration efforts
Define and document best practices and contribute to company knowledge sharing efforts
Identify and define integration points with third-party solutions
Outline all tools and technologies used for implementing the solution
Coordinate with vendor services for technology selection and implementation-related efforts
Analyze problems, identify root causes, outline resolution options, and take appropriate actions to resolve issues
Prepare and present technical proposals and presentations to all levels of a client's organization
Evaluate vendor documentation and technical requirements to accurately estimate the time and cost of identified options and make business-focused recommendations on approaches

JOB REQUIREMENT

More than 7 years of development experience and at least 1 year of leadership experience.
Proficient in waterfall and agile methodologies, with an understanding of the product management's role in different development methodologies.
Familiarity with enterprise CMS platforms (Contentful, AEM, or similar) and enterprise Next.js/Typescript/GraphQL/React.
General understanding of digital commerce, CRM, and loyalty programs (preferred but not mandatory).
Prioritize user-driven product design and data-driven product refinement.
Understanding of user experience, technical, and business issues.
Proven experience in building scalable applications, CI/CD, and managing common infrastructures.
Strong appreciation for design and user experience.
Provide mentorship and guidance to junior technical resources.
Excellent time management, problem-solving, teamwork, and communication skills.
Experienced in building applications and websites for large multinational brands.
A computer science degree is preferable.
Lead the implementation of testing best practices, including unit testing, integration testing, and automated end-to-end testing, with a preference for familiarity with TDD.
Lead the implementation of best coding practices, code review, and performance-driven code optimization.

Conduct authorized penetration testing for various digital platforms, including web applications, mobile applications, APIs, infrastructure, and cloud environments. Identify and document security vulnerabilities, validate and exploit when necessary, covering areas such as authentication, authorization, session management, input validation, encryption, access control, and business logic issues. Perform security assessments according to industry standards (e.g. OWASP Top 10, OWASP API Security Top 10, OWASP Mobile Security Testing Guide) and relevant security practices. Analyze application flows, user journeys, transaction processes, access controls, and data handling mechanisms to uncover potential security risks. Conduct vulnerability assessment and manual verification to reduce false positives, confirming actual exploitability in authorized environments. Retest to validate remediation effectiveness and ensure vulnerabilities are properly resolved. Support security testing activities within the software development life cycle (SDLC), including security requirement review, threat analysis, test planning, and release security validation. Stay updated with emerging cyber threats, attack techniques, security risks, and security testing best practices. Define the penetration testing approach, test strategy, testing scope, priorities, timelines, and required evidence based on project and client requirements. Facilitate vulnerability walkthroughs, risk clarification sessions, remediation discussions, and retesting alignment with relevant stakeholders. Support estimation, planning, status tracking, issue escalation, and delivery reporting for security testing activities. Contribute to improving security testing processes, reporting templates, testing checklists, knowledge sharing, and reusable testing practices. Support regulatory, audit, and compliance requirements by providing security testing evidence, reports, remediation status, and technical clarification when needed.
