JOB DESCRIPTION

Lead the decisions around scalable full-stack and cloud-native systems architecture.
Advocate for best practices in system design, reliability, and observability.
Take charge of delivering essential platform capabilities, including crew training and assessment (OCL), compliance systems (Track & Trace), restaurant monitoring and reporting (MRD), virtual restaurant assessments, and intelligent operational action systems for RGMs.
Collaborate with product and stakeholders, translating business requirements into scalable solutions.
Build and design scalable applications using React/React Native, Spring Boot, and NestJS.
Develop robust APIs and microservices that support restaurant operational systems.
Ensure high code quality through testing, code reviews, and performance enhancement.
Manage and create cloud infrastructure using AWS (EKS, Lambda).
Set up CI/CD pipelines using GitLab CI.
Guarantee strong monitoring and system reliability through the use of Datadog.
Collaborate closely with engineering and product teams across global locations to deliver platform capabilities.
Address complex technical challenges and provide scalable solutions to enhance platform reliability and operational efficiency.

JOB REQUIREMENT

Expertise in Java, specifically in object-oriented programming, multithreading, generics, and collections.
Extensive familiarity with Spring Framework, Spring Boot, Spring Data, Dependency Injection, and transaction management.
Building experience with RESTful APIs and microservices architectures for scalable distributed systems.
Developing full-stack applications using ReactJS and React Native.
Designing scalable APIs inclusive of authentication, authorization, and versioning strategies.
Implementation of testing strategies, including unit, integration, and end-to-end tests.
Troubleshooting and optimizing performance of large-scale distributed systems.
Strong understanding of SQL databases such as PostgreSQL and NoSQL databases such as DynamoDB and DocumentDB, including data modeling, optimization, and scalability considerations.
Hands-on experience with AWS cloud services, including EKS, Lambda, and cloud-native infrastructure components.
Knowledge of Kubernetes, including container orchestration, scaling, and deployment of microservices.
Building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines using GitLab CI.
Implementing monitoring, logging, and observability using Datadog in cloud and Kubernetes environments.
Developer coaching or mentoring experience, contributing to team members' skills and tasks progress.
Proficiency with Git-based version control systems for collaborative development.
Experience in Agile development environments, engagement in sprint planning, technical design discussions, and cross-functional collaboration.
Mobile application development using React Native.
Designing data pipelines and operational analytics systems.
Integrating with restaurant hardware or IoT devices.
Strategic thinker with substantial technical depth.
Comfortable operating across multiple projects and teams.
Pragmatic, hands-on, and delivery-focused.
Ability to influence stakeholders and provide clarity in complex technical decisions.
