JOB DESCRIPTION

Have a good grasp on smart contract, CI/CD pipeline, and deployment process
Able to interpret business requirements and translate them into smart contract designs
Proficient in understanding the business flow in Core banking and capable of discussing finance, credit card, and operations requirements with the business
Provide support for business features during development, UAT testing, and production, including problem-solving in smart contract issues
Solid experience in backend development using Python
Adheres to Agile software delivery framework
Previous experience in roles related to client-facing integration, implementation engineering, or solution architecture in B2B software product companies
Analyze and validate business requirements and convert them into technical specifications
Assess core platform changes versus client-specific requests
Develop Vault workflows and Python smart contract code based on client requirements (Software Engineering)
Collaborate with engineering to comprehensively understand Vault and its associated roadmap
Coordinate impact and requirements across projects and provide support for client staging and development instances
Investigate and resolve client technical queries and manage backlogs and sprint planning
Conduct post mortems and manage technical issues
Participate in testing, release cycles, and QA processes for client deployments

JOB REQUIREMENT

Proficient in Python programming, with a strong grasp of Python Core concepts.
A minimum of 2 years of practical experience in Smart contract hooks, Core APIs, Streaming APIs, and Smart contract version upgrade.
Skilled in plan and schedule management, as well as conducting unit testing and understanding CI/CD processes in Python.
Solid understanding and practical application of testing principles such as unit, integration, and e2e testing.
Familiarity with the CQRS pattern and proficiency in using Git flow, Trunk, and GitHub flow branching strategies.
Experience with DevOps toolchain including GitHub, CircleCI, Artifactory, SonarQube, and similar tools.
Knowledge of retail banking and accounting principles, such as double-entry bookkeeping, is a plus.
Bonus: Understanding of Blockchain technology and its operations.
Prior experience with projects in financial institutions, digital banks, or fintech would be beneficial.
