We're seeking a Staff Data Engineer to own and evolve our data infrastructure as we scale globally. You'll design and build the data systems that power our platform - from real-time pipelines and analytics infrastructure to the AI/ML foundations enabling intelligent insurance products.#Data Architecture & Engineering Design and implement scalable, future-proof data architectures aligned with business objectives across multiple regions and regulatory environments Build and maintain data pipelines for ingestion, transformation, and delivery using modern orchestration tools (Airflow, Spark, Kafka) Architect data solutions spanning data warehousing, data lakes, and real-time analytics Create and maintain data models (conceptual, logical, physical) using recognized modeling approaches Develop and document the enterprise data landscape, mapping data stores and flows across our microservices architecture#AI/ML Infrastructure Build and maintain data infrastructure supporting ML model training, deployment, and monitoring (MLOps) Design and implement vector database solutions for AI-powered features (e.g., MongoDB Atlas Vector Search, Pinecone, Weaviate) Develop data pipelines feeding recommendation engines, claims processing automation, fraud detection, and other AI-driven capabilities Ensure AI infrastructure scales globally while meeting data residency and compliance requirements#Data Operations & Quality Implement DataOps practices ensuring data quality, lineage, and governance across the platform Define and enforce data strategy and architectural principles across engineering teams Build monitoring and alerting for pipeline health, data quality, and SLA compliance Optimize query performance and cost efficiency across data systems#Technical Leadership Collaborate with product and engineering teams to translate business requirements into data solutions Act as a change agent, driving adoption of modern data practices across the organization Contribute to architectural reviews and technical decision-making Own data problems through to resolution

Take charge in guiding and mentoring Agile teams to uphold engineering standards, sprint backlogs and plans, engineers' responsibilities and performance management, code quality, adherence to development guardrails, and testing. Collaborate with various cross-functional teams, architects, and product managers to ensure the execution and delivery of engineering goals. Drive the technology roadmap and contribute to the overall architecture and key components design for the current and future framework. Serve as a mediator between speed and quality while coaching engineers to be T-shaped, versatile, and take responsibility outside their core discipline. Take ownership of addressing technical debt and staying updated with modern development technologies and methodologies. Be accountable for the entire life-cycle development process and the deliveries of a team. Encourage self-sufficiency and discipline within the product engineering team. Spearhead initiatives for implementing efficient development and delivery processes. Inspire the product team to strive for continuous delivery and innovation. Oversee the career path development for engineering team members, in collaboration with the HR department.

Designing, configuring, developing, and deploying scalable D365 F&O solutions across multiple entities. Supporting end-to-end implementation processes, from requirements and design to development, testing, and go-live. Utilizing Out-of-the-Box (OOB) features while designing or customizing solutions for identified gaps. Collaborating with finance and operations business teams from different regions in South East Asia and South Africa to migrate entities from legacy systems and onboard new entities. Creating and maintaining data models that ensure seamless integration with the Microsoft Common Data Service (CDS). Developing integrations using REST APIs, Web Services, and Data Entities. Generating finance reports and dashboards using Power BI, SSRS, and FetchXML. Being familiar with co-pilot capabilities and building AI models. Participating in solution design, code reviews, and deployment planning. Troubleshooting and resolving complex system or application issues.
