Technical Project Manager

JOB DESCRIPTION

Part A (60%): Overall project management and collaboration with teams (HW, SW, Mech, Sys, Bussiness dev) in VN
- Manage the project to ensure the proposed plan adheres to the timeline, budget, and scope.
- Collaborate with different teams in Vietnam and globally in different domains (HW, SW, Mechanical, System engineering, Business development,)
- Assist the project director with different workstream planning and execution.
- Planning and performing team meetings for different work packages.
Planning and follow-up technology sprints.
Planning and preparation for Workstream 2 Technology Meetings (Track Release of Work Packages)
Follow-up Work Packages (Jira)
Resources planning (Follow up for CF0x/2023 and BP202x)
Planning and preparation for Reporting to project board management
Setup and maintaining Technology platform storage (Docupedia, SharePoint)
Planning and performing “the new product development.”
- Supporting setting up - Process, Engineering Guidelines (SW, HW, Mech, Manufacturing,)
Setting up team, new team in VN
Planning of specific Workshops...
- Taking over project responsibility for global development and follow-up.
 
Part B (40%): Software subcomponent project management - swPjM
- As the software team is a part of the overall product development project, the swPjM response for the detailed planning for embedded software development work packages
- Monitor detailed tasks of team members, and ensure delivery.
- Issue development requests to developers and track the progress
- Plan, monitor and Control project schedule
- Interface with customers manage OPLs and stakeholders
- Develop team and give feedback to associates as per need

JOB REQUIREMENT

Background in Engineering (Software Engineering, Electronics, Mechatronics)
Good in English (equivalent TOEIC 750+)
Very good communication, interpersonal, and analytical skills
PMP qualification and practice project management (3yrs+)
Experience in electronic product development from the concept to production (3yrs+)
Experience in Embedded software development and product development, language C/C++ (5yrs+)
Experience in software design architecture, Autosar, RTOS,... (5yrs+)
Experience in new product engineering development (electronic or mechanics, or sw. (5yrs+)
Experience leading, and managing teams with more than 10+ people (3yr+)
Experience working with global customers, suppliers (3yrs+)
Knowledge about V model development and Agile (3yrs+)
Flexible and result oriented

Staff Engineer, Firmware

Create the firmware stack for a new project from the ground up, including selecting the operating system, setting up the toolchain, and developing the board support package. Develop firmware for real-time processing units across the project's hardware platform. Establish and maintain embedded Linux environments for onboard computing, including BSP setup, device tree configuration, kernel driver development, and userspace/kernel interfaces. Create and maintain low-level drivers for various components such as actuators, sensors, IMUs, and communication buses (CAN, EtherCAT, SPI, I2C, UART). Design real-time control loops with specific latency and determinism requirements. Work closely with different engineering teams to co-design hardware and firmware interfaces. Develop tooling for firmware flashing, diagnostics, and in-field debugging. Set and uphold firmware architecture standards, code quality practices, and review processes within the team.
