JOB DESCRIPTION

Leadership and Collaboration
Collaborate with the technical lead to manage and support an interdisciplinary engineering team
Allocate engineers to projects based on their skills and project requirements, ensuring optimal resource utilization
Coordinate both in-office and remote workdays based on project and team needs to create a balanced hybrid work environment
Act as a liaison between technical and non-technical teams, ensuring clear communication of priorities and goals
 
Project Management and Delivery
Oversee project timelines, milestones, and deliverables using project management tools (e.g., Jira, Trello, or similar)
Lead scheduling initiatives such as sprint planning and daily standups
Identify and address risks, roadblocks, and dependencies to ensure smooth project execution
Maintain accountability for the timely and high-quality delivery of engineering projects
Proactively identify risks, dependencies, and roadblocks, implementing solutions to keep projects on track
Ensure the on-time and high-quality completion of projects aligned with business goals
 
Workflow Optimization and Process Improvement
Continuously evaluate team workflows to identify inefficiencies and implement process improvements
Collaborate with engineers to recommend tools or methodologies that enhance team productivity and streamline execution
Stay updated on industry trends, technologies, and best practices to keep workflows efficient and competitive
 
People Management
Conduct regular one-on-one meetings with team members to offer guidance
Foster a collaborative and inclusive team culture that encourages innovation, learning, and shared success
Work closely with engineers to help them overcome challenges and maintain high engagement
 
Documentation and Processes
Ensure all workflows, processes, and project roadmaps are well-documented and accessible to relevant stakeholders
Establish clear communication protocols for project updates, status reports, and handoffs

JOB REQUIREMENT

Education & Experience
A degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field
5+ years of experience in technical project management, scrum mastery, or a related role in a technology-driven environment
Technical Expertise
Knowledge of full-stack development processes and modern design systems (React, NextJS, Postgres)
Proficiency with project management tools (e.g., Jira, Trello) and agile methodologies
Collaboration with technical teams to identify and resolve challenges without direct coding responsibilities
Leadership & Management Skills
Ability to lead and support teams in achieving project goals while fostering a positive and productive environment.
Strong organizational and time-management skills for overseeing multiple projects and priorities effectively.
Soft Skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to bridge the gap between technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities to address challenges with creativity and efficiency.
