Offer expertise on dimensioning schemes, datum selections, measurements, and GD&T application according to ASME standards and the needs of downstream assembly and systems. Take the lead on TA/VSA and collaborate with partner teams to address identified risks and challenges effectively. Coordinate planning for Development Validations & Verifications (DEV V&Vs) and ensure supplier partners are prepared for measurement system support. This may involve guiding fixture design, documenting measurement operations, addressing metrology issues, and qualifying measurement systems. Oversee the creation of DEV health dashboard and work with internal and external partners to resolve issues and meet product ramp-up targets. Collaborate with manufacturing engineering teams or vendors to balance functionality and manufacturability during the development of dimensional controls. Provide guidance to other ME or ODM partners in the DEV team regarding dimensional analysis requirements and processes, and participate in concurrent design development activities to maintain Dimensional Management objectives during collaborative design reviews.
